Is it in anyway possible to create a link on a report that would take the user to another window to edit the data?
For example, lets say I have a simple RDL with a data table that has a list of authors. How could I go about editing the author name from the report. I know that this isn't common, but I need to o this somehow on a RDL report within DNN.
Thanks.

You can definitely do this. We have written some custom reports that tied into some editing modules before. Say you have a module that goes to edit mode for a particular author and it is possible to accept as a parameter via the querystring the author name or ID to choose which one to edit. You could write in your report a link and set the link up to go directly to this module and dynamically pass in the author information as an attribute in the querystring. Hopefully that makes sense.

Email service@modulemasters.com and we will have some questions and can then see if it is something we can do and create a quote from there or point you in the right direction otherwise.
